Mozilla Firefox for Windows 8 stops just before release

Mozilla has announced the release of Firefox for the Modern interface of Windows 8 is deleted. According to Mozilla, there were more than a thousand testers per day, so the developer does not have enough test data before release and the browser thus a ‘mistake’ would be.

According to Mozilla, other test versions of the browsers millions of users a day, but the number of active users of the version for the Modern interface in Windows 8 never rose above a thousand out. This would release a lot of attention after going to the support, because many bugs there would not have been out. “We have to choose our battles,” the browser maker. Firefox for Windows 8 would be released Tuesday.

Mozilla was already working on the “Firefox Metro’ variant, since the end of 2012, but a public test version came out just last month. Mozilla remains support the dekstop version for Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Apps with the Modern interface come in managed Microsoft Windows Store. The most recent versions of Windows support both desktop apps and apps with the fullscreen Modern interface.
