MSI brings three mini-ITX motherboards with Braswell chips on the market




MSI has three new small and efficient motherboards with soldered Celeron and Pentium chips released. The new ECO models of the company include meant for HTPC applications.

The new motherboards have received MSI names N3050I ECO N3150I ECO and ECO N3700I. As the names suggest, the mini-ITX boards provide successively N3050 dual core Celeron, Celeron and Pentium quad-N3150-N3700 quad, which are soldered to a PGI -socket. These are recently released on 14nm chips produced with Airmont-cores, Intel also for Cherry Trail Atoms bet. The chips are passively cooled by the ECO signs.

The socs contain graphics chips from Intel’s eighth generation and supporting hardware processing h.265 content and display of associate professors material, which can be output via the HDMI 1.4b present on the motherboard connector. The motherboards have two SO-DIMM slots support up to 8GB DDR3L-1600 ram. There are two SATA600 ports, a PCIe 2.0 x1 slot, Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.0.
