MSI introduces three ECO motherboards for Skylake chips

MSI has announced three new motherboards in its ECO range, which is marketed as an energy efficient range. The H170M, B150M and H110M motherboards for Intel chips Skylake who need to differentiate with low consumption.

It is the second generation of MSI’s ECO Series and this will initially comprise the H170M ECO, the B150M ECO and H110M ECO. Including the use of an ‘optimized PCBs and circuit design’ consumption should keep down all makes MSI unclear where these optimizations are made ​​of. The motherboards support Intel processors of the Skylake-generation DDR4 2133MHz memory, divided into two banks. They feature a PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot and two PCI-E x1 variants. In addition, support for DVI, VGA and HDMI exist and there’s a Gigabit Ethernet interface.

The H110M ECO has two USB 1.3 ports, one gene for the front and two at the back. The H170M and B150M the ECO line also have two for the front but the back four. There is also a difference in the number of SATA ports: the H170M B150M ECO and ECO there are six SATA600 interfaces present at the H110M that there are four. The motherboards are available now.
