MSI launches mini-ITX motherboard and compact GTX 760 for gaming

MSI has announced a compact duo for gaming: the Z87I motherboard and GTX 760 Gaming ITX. With MSI products aimed at gamers who want to build a small system, but not too many concessions in terms of performance to do.

The AC Z87I Gaming motherboard MITX is a sign-Z87 Express chipset that despite its small size has some interesting features for gamers. Thus, the board has a Network Killer E2205 gigabit ethernet adapter on board, but for wireless applications is support for 802.11 a/b/g/n/- and ac-wifi and Intel Wireless Display supported.

Furthermore, according to the specifications of five SATA-600 interfaces and one eSATA variant. Also, a display port, hdmi and dvi connection available, and provides the board six USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports. The motherboard has finally a single PCI-E 3.0 interface.

The GTX 760 is a compact ITX Gaming graphics card with dimensions of 170x111x41mm and is as long as the MITX board. The clock speed is 1006MHz with boost clock for a GPU frequency up to 1072MHz. MSI provides the card of 2GB GDDR5 memory and DL-DVI-I, HDMI and mini display port. The card will be cooled by MSI’s new Radax fan, which cooling air flows through radial and axial, and realizes the heat on the back of the card emissions.
