MSRP “Prism”: the NSA used Facebook to monitor users





The US confirmed Edward Snowden, former adviser on u.s. intelligence, that the social networking site “Facebook” used by the US National Security Agency “NSA” for targeting people that will be monitored.

The Snowden, who revealed last month that “Prism and is the largest u.s. program to spy on the Internet, that the national security agency monitors networking sites such as Facebook and e-mail messages to target people deemed a threat to national security.

The former intelligence Adviser in his dialogue of “Der Spiegel” magazine that the national security agency allocates people to target and monitor the follow-up of their movements online, and report which specifies the time, in accordance with the seriousness of a person.

Snowden said that the NSA cooperates with companies in several countries the Government around the world most notably “Israel” in order to control the Internet, and also electronic attacks against enemies.

Snowden said the Coalition “Five Eye Partners” intelligence that includes five States are America, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the role of the Alliance in control of the Internet.

The former Chancellor said US intelligence “America is not the only one that has a programme to control the Internet, Britain has a programme called TEMPORA you monitor traffic on your network, and coalition intelligence programs help in the control of a broad range of Internet”.

Snowden’s remarks came at a time when looking for political asylum in one of the countries of Latin America, noting that Venezuela has formally agreed to embrace MSRP “Prism.
