Mushkin Introduces Reactor SSD with 1TB
Mushkin has announced the Reactor SSD with a storage capacity of 1TB. The solid state drive Mushkin features a SATA-600 interface and would sequential read speeds up to 560mb / s able to achieve.
The reactor is supplied in a 2.5 “housing and is equipped with a SM2246EN controller of the company Silicon Motion, a 1GB DDR3 cache and 1TB MLC memory. According to Mushkin, the 1TB SSD sequential read and write speeds respectively 560 and 460MB / s gain on the SATA-600 interface.
At random 4k read actions can achieve Reactor 74,000 IOPS and 76,000 write operations, as claims Mushkin. Nor would the SSD in standby mode thanks DevSleep consume very little power, though the company does not release figures on this. The SSD also supports trim and secure erase.
