NASA shows animated video from the surface of Pluto
After nine years of flying through space and making a staggering 4.8 billion kilometers, the spacecraft New Horizons flew past Pluto. These have already shown a lot of pictures, but now NASA has released an animated video in which the surface is seen.
The crisp pictures that New Horizons took in recent days to anywhere you been. It gave us a glimpse of how the earth distant dwarf planet in the farthest reaches of our solar system are now actually looks like, something astronomers previously could only guess at. Besides pictures NASA also released a video showing how well Pluto looks from above.
In the video, the gloss is to be placed so that it does not come directly from the New Horizons-camera, but that it is an animation that is created on the basis of the images that has made the spacecraft. Nevertheless, it provides are a good picture of the icebergs on Pluto, like the ijssteppe Sputnik.
In the future we can expect even more images of the distant dwarf planet. It will take until next year until all radio signals stored by New Horizons images arrive.Viewing:-153
