Nearly a quarter of Android phones sold has no Google services’
Nearly a quarter of the sold Android devices do not have Google services on board. That research has ABI Research estimated. Especially in China and India decide manufacturers to the Google services are not tubed.
The number of Android smartphones sold without Google services, according to the estimates from ABI Research is around 64 million. Approximately 214 million Android smartphones have Google services on board. The large growth in the number of Android devices sold without Google services is mainly due to manufacturers in India and China as Xiaomi and Gionee. Also Nokia for its X-line and Amazon with the Fire Phone use the open source version of Android, also known as AOSP, as a basis for software on their smartphones.
