Nearly two-thirds of the Dutch has a smartphone. This is clear from consumer research from analyst firm Telecompaper. Last year was a little more than half of the Dutch.
This still seems to be increasing rapidly. Possession of smartphones in Netherlands The number of people with a smartphone rose by about a fifth to 63 percent at the time of the study, in the first months of this year, writes Telecompaper. The research was conducted among approximately 20,000 people. However, while ethnic minorities underrepresented and Telecompaper suspect therefore that the prepaid market, where many non-smartphones sold is greater than the study shows.
The providers seem to win. Tele2 share Of respondents was 5 percent at Tele2, while customer that the year before was 3 percent. KPN, Vodafone and T-Mobile are still much larger than that. The number of people with mobile internet subscription is around 10.25 million.
