NEC Introduces 27 “- and 30” monitors with IPS panels

Hardware manufacturer NEC announced two new MultiSync monitors, namely the EA305WMi and EA275WMi. Measuring the new LCDs respectively 30 ‘and 27’. The 30 “variant has a 16:10 aspect ratio and the 27” version 16: 9.

Both screens have a viewing angle of 178º and have a rated brightness of 350cd / m² and a contrast ratio of 1000: 1 with a response time of 6ms. Also, both screens equipped with two speakers of one watt each and a headphone jack. DisplayPort monitors also possess 1.2 Switching outputs and NEC’s own Control Sync technology which allows for up to six monitors in a multi-monitor configuration.

The EA305WMi has a screen of 29.8 “and a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels. The panel is illuminated by gb-R LED technology. The smaller EA275WMi has a screen of 27” with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels with w -led.

To get the monitors must for the 30 “version dollar 1399 ex VAT paid and the 27” variant $ 699 ex vat. Prices are not yet known.

What a lot of people forget is that in addition to specifications and price, other aspects are important. NEC belonged with Eizo at the top of the monitor market and for good reason.
NEC screens are qualitatively very good, the quality of the construction and electronics are top and that is why these screens will last for years. 10 years is nothing for NEC. Height adjustment, integrated cable management and power supplies are standard equipment. Also, I often see the NEC with a particular type of panel is able to achieve better image quality than other brands.
