Netbook Round-up – Four laptops compared from 200 euro
In 2010 you bought for around two hundred and fifty euros a laptop. These so-called netbooks were not dragging, and even made sure in 2008 that sales in the PC market grew despite the economic crisis.
The netbookconcept was simple; Most people do not need the fastest hardware and no big screens and high resolution but want to have a computer on the road, or on the bench. Netbooks fulfilled that need at a price that was between two hundred and three hundred and fifty euros.
Netbooks however, were not to have eternal life, and thanks in Windows 8 and the rise of tablets was in 2013 on the fun. The demand for cheap laptops remained and to Google’s Chromebooks do not have free rein in that price category began with the delivery of Microsoft ‘Windows 8.1 with Bing’ on low-cost laptops and tablets.
The result is that all the major laptop manufacturers in 2015, a ‘netbook 2.0 “cast for a price of around two hundred euros, and Windows 8.1 with Bing are provided.
