Netflix has 700,000 customers in the Netherlands




Netflix had 700,000 subscribers in the Netherlands in September. Digital TV Research estimates that based on figures from Netflix. In Belgium, where the service was recently launched, Netflix has only 30,000 subscribers; thereby only goes to trial subscriptions.

Netflix In the Netherlands the number of Netflix subscribers in less than a year rose significantly: last December, three after the Dutch release of Netflix, the video streaming service still had only 100,000. In September, that number had risen to 700,000, reports Digital TV Research, which has submitted an estimate based on figures from Netflix. It is not known how many subscribers pay, and how many are still in their free trial month.

Netflix makes itself available only how many subscribers it has a total outside the United States: that there were 15.8 million in September. Of these, 1.5 million were still in their free trial month. In his homeland Netflix still handle most subscribers: 37.2 million, of which one million subscribers are still in their free trial month.

The number of subscribers in Belgium in September was 30,000. Probably it concerns only for trial subscriptions; Netflix gives new users started their first month free and service in Belgium in September; all users therefore were still in their trial month. In September, Netflix was also launched in countries such as Germany, France and Luxembourg; in those countries had Netflix in that month, respectively 125,000, 100,000 and 10,000 subscribers.
