Netgear makes Nighthawk X4S AC2600 router available




Netgear will soon release a new Wi-Fi router in the Nighthawk Series. Netgear Nighthawk X4S AC2600 with model number R7800 is an 802.11ac router with quad stream wifi on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band.

The router with a dual core 1.7GHz processor, 512MB RAM and 128MB flash memory can achieve a maximum throughput of Wi-2,53Gbit / s when all connections are used on both 2,4 and 5 GHz, four data streams per tape wifi. The used soc is a Qualcomm Atheros IPQ 8065. The maximum connection speed of 2.4 GHz is 800Mbit / s when all four channels are used. For the 5 GHz band, the maximum throughput 1733Mbit / s, which equates to about 433Mbit / s per channel.
