Neural Swiftkey keyboard runs on ‘neural network’

The alternative keyboard maker Swiftkey has released an alpha version of a new keyboard: Swiftkey Neural. The new virtual keyboard smartphone uses artificial neural networks to predict and correct what the user types.

swifkey infographic Swiftkey Neural Alpha appeared Thursday in the Google Play Store for Android devices with Android 4.4 or higher and is free to download. The application uses artificial intelligence is used by ‘neural networks’. Dutch is not yet supported. The system may include use of the GPU for calculations as possible. The company warns that the system works best on high-end devices.
