New game mode Evolve from 17 January available in open beta




2K publisher and developer Turtle Rock Studios have given more details about the open beta of Evolve. In addition to the earlier play mode Hunt get Xbox One owners from 17 January also access the newly announced game mode Evacuation.

The open beta is only for Xbox One owners available . Persons who have previously participated in the alpha for the PC or PlayStation 4 come in January only eligible for a smaller private test. They may be the new mode Evacuation therefore not play and their progress is also not transferred to the official version as the game has been released.

Xbox One owners are eligible for these features. They can play the first from 15 January Hunt mode. This option was in the earlier alpha already available. The difference is that in the new test samples and two eight Hunters are present. The number of playable maps with eight increased, thus bringing the total to twelve. The testers then gain access to the 17 January game mode Evacuation. 2K and Turtle Rock Studios claiming that all unlocked Hunters and Samples can be transferred as Evolve is issued once officially. The release date is scheduled for February 10th.

The alpha of Evolve was held on 4 November. However, the first test had problems making PlayStation 4 users play by technical deficiencies could not be tested. The alpha was several days extended . The notice shall be reported that the matchmaking speed should be higher in January and also that the servers should be more stable. The offline mode is not available at all. The open beta ends on 19 January.
