New MMOG Blizzard probably playable without subscription




The Director of Blizzard Entertainment considers it unlikely that his company is working again, with subscriptions to a new MMOG he says in a phone call with investors. Blizzard is working on a new game with the working title Titan.

“Although I can not reveal details, it is unlikely that it is a MMOG where we work with subscriptions,” states director Mike Morhaime Blizzard. He is referring to Titan, the new mmpg that Blizzard has in production for some time. Blizzard works for World of Warcraft or subscriptions, although worked at increasing MMOG’s with micro transactions. It is the free game playable and only pay players for additional virtual objects. The director also confirmed in the interview that Blizzard has cut into the team working on Titan. The name Titan, a working title, appeared for the first time in 2010, in a leaked planning Blizzard. The game had it scheduled for late 2013.
