Nexus smartphones can be brought by SMS to reboot
An interesting bug appears that only Nexus smartphones concerns, IT Administrator Bogdan Alecu has discovered. If you send a set Class 0 short messages, or SMS, which are not automatically stored on the device to a Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4 or 5 Nexus, the smartphone may behave differently than you’d expect.
The SMS can ensure that the device reboot, deny access to the network or simply crash the SMS app. Hardware off the Nexus smartphone family seems not to be affected, but Bogdan Alecu not had the opportunity to test this large area. Google investigated the matter straight, but in the meantime you can just also via app protect them.
