Nikon presents new flagship DSLR D5

Nikon has unveiled at CES the D5. This flagship DSLR features a 20.8-megapixel FX-format sensor. The full frame sensor has an ISO range of 100 to 102 400 which is expandable to ISO 3.28 million. The camera shoots up to 12fps with AF and 14 without.

The autofocus system features no less than 153 focal points of which 99 are cross sensitive. With an off-lw sensitivity to -4, it is possible to also be used in very low light autofocus continue to make. The exposure meter is equipped with an RGB sensor with 180 000 pixels for accurate object recognition.

The five new EXPEED image processor has a buffer for two hundred shots in RAW (NEF) or jpg format so you can keep shooting at full speed for more than sixteen seconds. Filming can with a maximum resolution of 3840×2160 pixels at 24, 25 or 30fps which is a one-to-one cut from the middle of the sensor used for maximum image quality. Full-HD video can be up to 50 or 60fps recorded in multiple formats.

For storing pictures and videos, there are two new XQD -kaartsleuven available. Large amounts of data can be transferred quickly via the USB 3.0 port, Ethernet connection or wifi. The sales launch of the Nikon D5 begins in March 2016. The recommended retail price is 7109 euros.
