Nikon takes introduction D500 DSLR-out until late April

Nikon Japan announces the market launch of the D500 DSLR-has been postponed until late April. The high-end camera with APS-C sensor was announced in early January at CES and was initially in March reach the market.

Nikon states that it is not feasible to make enough copies of the Nikon D500 for a launch in March. Thus come the SLR, the Wi-Fi transmitter, battery grip and other related accessories until the end of April on the market in Japan, the homeland of the manufacturer.

The Nikon D500 is the long awaited successor of the D300s. The device features a new 20.9-megapixel sensor in the APS-C format and a 5 EXPEED image processor. The camera shoots with up to 10fps and can record videos in 4K resolution. The autofocus system has 153 points of focus. In the Benelux, the camera loosely 2369 euro costs and there is a kit with 16-80mm f / 2.8-4E lens available for 3389 euros.
