Nintendo has announced a turn-based strategy game for the 3DS. The game, Code Name: Steam has a steampunk theme that not only looks used, the player runs on steam, which can be used to carry out attacks.

Nintendo announced the game at the E3 gaming conference in Los Angeles. The game is set in London during the Victorian era, when the city is attacked by aliens. The game has a steampunk theme and a cell shaded look. Steampunk-themed works not just by the look of the game: players can in turn based game perform actions based on the amount of steam available in their boiler, turning them on their backs.

Although Code Name: Steam is a turn-based game, the game would play as a shooter.
