Nintendo asks patent for detachable controller

Nintendo has applied for a patent for a removable controller that can be clicked on a table eighty device. In another patent application is also silent on control via hand gestures. The application connects to earlier rumors about the upcoming Nintendo NX.

The patent was filed with the United States Patent Office in late January and was released on August 11. The publication was then observed by a user of the NeoGAF forum. It seems earlier to confirm rumors, that Nintendo NX a console with removable controllers already have this patent application does not necessarily save the upcoming console.

The patent talks about an accessory that on the outside of a device that processes information ‘can be coupled. The device has at least buttons and what looks like a turntable. no electronic connections There seem to be used for driving the handheld console. Nintendo there appears to make use of an infrared camera that registers which buttons are pressed by markers that appear on the side of the controller.

Nintendo NX comes out in March 2017. The date was announced during the discussion of the annual results, last April. The company itself has not yet released details on the console.
