Nintendo makes YouTube app available for the Switch

Nintendo has made the YouTube app for the Nintendo Switch available in the eShop. Users can download the application for free to view videos from the platform on the portable console.

The YouTube app occupies 93.32MB and is available in Dutch, Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese. The arrival of YouTube to the Switch is no surprise. Last weekend there were already indications that Nintendo wanted to announce the app on Thursday 8 November.

However, Nintendo quickly removed those instructions on his site. For the Wii and WiiU there were already YouTube apps available for the Switch that were missing. However, there was already a video player of the Hulu service, but that service was not available in the Benelux.
