Nintendo has announced to release his Miitomo application next Thursday in the Netherlands for iOS and Android. The company then begins to replace with the new rewards program My Nintendo that Club Nintendo.

Miitomo was already in Japan and a million users have downloaded it there. The application is intended as a way to maintain social contact with other Nintendo users. It uses the player’s Mii. The application allows the player to ask, and the answers are shared with other users friendly.

The My Nintendo rewards program is the same date of launch and start working with gold and platinum items. Platinum Points can be earned by using Nintendo applications and services, gold items come with the purchase of downloadable games via the Nintendo website or eShop. Both types of points can be exchanged for things like games, extra content and discounts.

Also from 31 March is possible to buy applications and games through the Nintendo website rather than through the eShop. It uses the eShop balance and purchased software is automatically downloaded and installed on a system connected to the Nintendo account.
