A hacker has managed to hack the Nintendo Switch by using an existing webkit-exploits against the browser console. A developer has a proof-of-concept given on the basis of vulnerability.

The hacker qwertyoruiop has a picture on Twitter posted stating that he reused an old webkit-operates. The hacker has worked successfully to iOS jailbreaks and was claimed Wololo also responsible for a PS4 1.76 exploit.

According to the same site has a different developer already a proof-of-concept release based on the same vulnerability designation CVE-2016-4657 . The browser of the Switch is somewhat hidden and only to log into hotspots.

Nintendo thus does not appear to have applied the latest patches. The proof-of-concept works by code for a iOS 9.3 webkit exploit something to suit. In a video gives developer Live overflow issues and on github is exploitable. The hack still has little to offer, but is a first step towards deeper dive into the system and find new vulnerabilities and workarounds kernel exploits.
