Nintendo will release new 3DS handhelds on February 13




Nintendo has announced via a video that the new versions of 3DS and 3DS XL from February 13 to be available in Europe. The handhelds are almost identical in design to the existing models, but there is more integrated under a new processor.

The new processor should deliver speed improvements, as Nintendo has already announced , but the feature is in the announcement emphasized again. It has also added a second directional button and Nintendo has placed new trigger buttons on the back. New 3DS and the New 3DS XL will also support amiibo figures through NFC. Besides micro SD cards can also be made via Wi-Fi connection to a PC, and so can be made backups of savegames.

The new screens should provide further improved viewing angles and the 3d effect must be visible from multiple angles. The 3D mode can moreover be manually switched on and off. An integrated light sensor must be able to continue to automatically adjust the screen brightness. The battery time would be improved according to Nintendo and in addition, the battery in the new models removable. Nintendo has not announced yet recommended.

Besides the new handheld Nintendo announced the release of a few games for the Wii U was announced. Splatoon, a multiplayer game where players compete with paintball guns, appears in May . Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars will continue on March 20 and in addition, Namco Bandai announced a free co-op game to evolve to.
