Nissan has developed a clever mirror for vehicles

Japanese automaker Nissan introduced the public new smart mirror, everything else being the world’s first LCD-display-mirror, providing a clear picture of what is happening on the road behind the car in bad weather and even in poor lighting conditions. Moreover, the mirror allows the driver to switch between the LCD-monitor and normal mirror surface, which is used in all the traditional rear-view mirrors.

Nissan Smart Rearview Mirror will be shown at the annual motor show in Geneva, which will be held from 6 to 16 March. In this paper, a smart rear-view mirror from Nissan makes high definition camcorder mounted to the rear of the car.

¬ęSmart Rearview Mirror provides a broad overview and a clear understanding of what is happening behind the car as compared to conventional mirrors. Through the use of LCD-display, the driver sees everything that happens behind his car. Now nothing, including rear-pillar and seat headrests, does not prevent its review and timely response to a particular situation in a busy traffic conditions, “- said the company Nissan in its official press release.

“Acceptable level survey using conventional mirrors significantly reduced if the back row seats are tall passengers or luggage. Smart new mirror can get rid of these problems and thanks to a rear of the vehicle provides an unprecedented overview that appears on the LCD-monitor built into the mirror itself. ”

“In addition, conventional mirrors have an aspect ratio of 4:3 or 16:9. But as these traditional proportions are not well suited for a unique kind of mirror Smart, Nissan has developed a new aspect ratio, which is about 4:1. ”

Work of the new Smart Rearview Mirror mirror can be evaluated on the video below.
