Find a Question:
Nissan showed its version of Google Glass
On the eve of the Tokyo Motor Show the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan showed its version of Google Glass. The gadget is more like a gear to the soldier-cyborg from the sci-fi thriller than a conventional digital glasses.
So far the only information available about digital glasses Nissan – teaser video published on YouTube. If we have something more than a concept, it is very likely that the device is optimized for use with car-class sports-type GT-R and Nissan BladeGlider. The latter, as the newspaper writes CNET, will be presented next week, along with the magic glasses Nissan’s 43rd consecutive international car exhibition in Tokyo (from November 23 to December 1).
Presumably, Nissan 3E – is the name of this gadget – will be used to display information about road conditions and the condition of the vehicle (for example, average speed and fuel level) on the projected screen in front of the driver’s eyes. This is the second attempt to Nissan in the world after the prototype wearable electronics “smart” watches Nissan Nismo Watch , presented during the Frankfurt Motor Show last month.
Whatever it is this development, it gives the Nissan new competitive advantage in the automotive field.
