NLziet begins trial with live TV in iOS app

Video-on-demand platform NLziet starts in November with a pilot to stream live TV to the iOS app. Thousand subscribers can participate in the trial that will last a month. It is not yet known whether live TV will bring with it an additional cost.

Bright discovered that it has received a number of service users an e-mail in which the test is announced. Opposite Tweakers NLziet confirms that a pilot will take place, and that the transmitters NPO 1, 2 and 3; RTL 4, 5, 7, and Z; SBS 6, 9, Net 5 and Veronica can be viewed live during the test period. The trial lasts for a month and live streaming TV channels during the test works only in the iOS app, but there is Chromecast- and Apple TV support so that the image can be easily transmitted to a large screen.

Or live TV watching after the trial period is available for all subscribers will NLziet not say. It would now be a pilot to see if there is a need to live watching television. Also wants the service does not mean that there may need to be paid extra for live streaming of the stations. During the trial period is free for subscribers who are invited.

Currently it is only possible to NLziet to back programs NPO, RTL and SBS look at a cost of 7.95 euros per month. Paying users get no ads served and can stream in higher quality than comparable free services Uitzendinggemist.
