Noctua introduces three new 92mm CPU coolers

The Austrian manufacturer of CPU coolers Noctua has announced three new processor coolers. The three models use the recently announced NF-A9 92mm PWM fan. One of the coolers for Intel Xeon processors with the original LGA2011 socket.

The two new coolers for consumers U9S the NH and NH-D9L and following the NH-U9B SE2 on. The third model, the NH-D9DX i4 3U is for workstations and servers with Xeon processors for the original LGA2011 socket. Noctua showed prototypes of the coolers as at Computex earlier this year.

Noctua NH-series CPU coolers

The NH-U9S is a high-endkoeler with five heatpipes and asymmetrical design. The cooler has a footprint of 95x95mm and with this RAM and PCI-E slots would not be in the way, according to Noctua, even in micro-ATX and ITX motherboards.

The NH-D9L’s compact format suitable for HTPC and other small form factor systems. The cooler has four heatpipes and 110mm high, where most 9cm coolers 125mm high. The NH-D9L also has a footprint of 95x95mm. The NH-D9DX i4 3U is identical to the NH-D9L but next LGA2011 sockets with square ilm format of 80x80mm suitable for Xeon sockets with a narrow ilm of 56x94mm of the Xeon platform. The LGA1366 sockets old X58 motherboards are otherwise supported.

The NH-U9S gets a suggested retail price of 54.90 euros, the NH-D9L should cost 49.90 euros and the NH D9DX i4 3U goes for 56.90 euros of the hand, thus Noctua.
