Nokia brings its Google Maps competitor to Samsung Galaxy devices




Nokia has its card application Nokia Lord placed in the application store for Samsung Galaxy devices. Later this year the maps app also to other Android devices and iOS, Nokia promises.

The maps app is only currently available via the application store Samsung, though it’s probably a matter of time before the MOT on the Internet appears. It’s still a beta version, though it is being fully functional. For example, the app over point-by-point navigation, including Dutch voices are supported, and may also routes in public transport are outlined.

Furthermore, the maps can be downloaded for offline can be navigated. Whole countries Competitor Google Maps also has the option to download maps, but that is somewhat hidden in the application and in addition some smaller areas can be stored locally. On the other hand Nokia Here does not provide the navigation cycle, something Google Maps or offers.

Nokia Here is created by the part of Nokia that is left over after the sale of the telefoontak to Microsoft. Recently leaked an apk of the card in charge.
