Nokia launches new system for navigation




The new navigation system works with Internet-related vehicles.

Nokia announced Friday the launch of “Herr Otto” (Here Auto), a navigation system that integrates in Control Panel for vehicles, has launched “Herr Otto kobanion” (Here Auto Companion) who will be accompanying a new navigation system.

Finnish company said on her blog, the Internet gives some additional capabilities, including auto, automotive granted Internet link new capabilities are immense, so the system (Here Auto) and application (Here Auto Companion) to take advantage of that potential and achieve the company’s vision is to bring what is known as a “drive” to life, as their expression.

“Nokia” system (Auto Here) with its application facilities are able to provide a navigation and positioning, such as trip planning, and to provide drivers in 95 countries around the world with an audio driving directions, in addition to instantaneous updates on the status of the traffic, as in “Wizz” (Waze) of “Google”, “Herr Otto cloud” (Here Auto Cloud).


And when driver arrived to its destination, the system will provide two-and three-dimensional images of streets as well as information on places you can park the vehicle, in addition to internal maps of surrounding buildings.

The drivers can use (Here Auto Companion) which is a mobile application, outside the vehicle to store more trends and common spaces, so that what is stored and analysed within the application gives users recommendations on the best places to park the vehicle, fuel stations and other points needed by the driver on the road.


According to the company, the driver can, thanks to the application (Here Auto Companion), see where they left their vehicles (thanks LiveSight) and keep them in touch with all the sensors in the vehicle such as fuel level wedaz tires, in addition to lock or unlock the vehicle or even a remote control device.

The system (Here Auto) will be commercially launched in the coming months, according to the Nokia blog.
