If you thought that Apple raises prices only in the Russian App Store , then this is not so. Yesterday, the company sent letters to developers, in which they reported an increase in the prices for applications in Denmark, Mexico and, more interestingly, in all countries that use the euro.

For example, in Austria, France, Bulgaria, Estonia and other countries, the minimum cost of the application will be 1.09 euros instead of 0.99 euros earlier. Changes will not affect users who have active, automatically renewed subscriptions. For all the rest, the new pricing policy will come into force within a week.

In some countries, Apple also added VAT (as in Russia) to the cost of applications, only at a rate of five percent. Buyers will pay the tax, including for the built-in purchases.

It is noteworthy that the change in the App Store pricing followed soon after the company lowered the percentage for promotion of applications for partners of the online store.
