The NS has conducted an update of his planner app, which it is now possible to buy a train ticket from the application. After payment, the user receives a qr-code scanning at a public transport smartcard gate.

While planning the trip and scan the qr code happens in the app, NS leads users of the app to a mobile website for actual delivery of the ticket and settle it. As a method of settling the company uses PayPal, which works with most apps from banks.

Buying the tickets starts in the planner where users can plan a route from one place to another. The app gave it all price information, but now there is a link to the site where the trip has already been completed. Because it is a responsive website, users can also from desktop buy an e-ticket on the site and load the app. The update to the app, version 4.4, is live for Android in the Play Store and iPhone in the App Store
