“NSA tapped without a warrant out for detecting hacking foreign governments’
The NSA should intercept internet and from the US without having to need a warrant to search for evidence of hacking attempts by foreign powers. This is demonstrated by new documents released by whistleblower Snowden.
The documents include two memos from 2012 lawyers from the US Department of Justice, stating that the NSA is allowed to drain internet cables to delve into hacking activities. The interception would occur on US territory without prior authorization of a judge.
