Nvidia GeForce soon in ARM processors from other manufacturers

Nvidia licenses its graphics technology now available to the developers of platforms for mobile devices like tablets and smartphones . As the company announced, third now have the opportunity to use the GeForce graphics based on the Kepler architecture in their own processors.

According to Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang wants to open up new areas through the extension of licensing. So customers should be addressed to develop their own ARM processors for tablets and smartphones, rather than to use Nvidia’s Tegra chips. Among other things, for example, could Apple or Samsung equip their own ARM processors in the future with the Nvidia GeForce graphics.
