NVIDIA Introduces Quadro M2000 Maxwell GPU




Nvidia has released a new video card in the Quadro line for workstations announced. The Quadro M2000 utilizes the Maxwell GPU, has 768 cudacores and 4GB of GDDR5 memory with a 128bit memory bus for. Four 4k screens can be connected.

Regarding the power is Quadro M2000 comparable to the GeForce GTX 950. The Quadro variant, however, more memory and more DisplayPort connectors. Up to four monitors can be controlled simultaneously with a resolution of up to 4096×2160 pixels at 60Hz. Further ensure compatibility with professional software with the Quadro cards and they are longer supported. There the M2000 does not require power supply, consumes up to 75 watts and can therefore be powered by the PCI-E slot.

The Quadro K2200 M2000 follow on. Even the card from 2013 was based on the Maxwell architecture, but the new model has more cudacores and therefore more power. What cost is not disclosed the Quadro M2000. Manufacturers offer the pastor for about 425 euros at time of writing.
