Nvidia is working to fix problems with the latest GeForce drivers

he latest stable GeForce drivers from Nvidia, with version 364.47 WHQL, have at various user caused problems. Nvidia says it is aware and ready a new driver, which still has to be certified by Microsoft.

Nvidia released the WHQL driver software is for GeForce graphics cards on Monday, and quickly followed, among other Tweakers messages from users who faced bsod’s after installing the new drivers. Other reports speak of flashing screens and problems with arrangements of multiple monitors. Nvidia recognizes that there have been problems, and says that a first study indicates that to make the problems may be related to the execution of a “Express’ installation.

Now the video card manufacturer has released a new driver version 364.51 which is as a beta download . The driver is still in control from Microsoft and once it has received WHQL certified Nvidia will release the new version and spread via the GeForce Experience software.

Users who downloaded the 364.47 drivers, but have not yet installed, it is recommended to install the beta drivers or waiting out the new WHQL drivers. If the driver is already installed, according to some, the problems can be solved by starting Windows in Safe Mode and using hardware management to restore the previous version of the driver. Also restore a restore point in Windows can help.
