Nvidia releases GeForce GTX 1050 with 3GB slack

Nvidia releases a 3GB version of its Geforce GTX 1050 video card. The card, which has to fill the gap between the regular GTX 1050 with 2GB and the GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB, can now be seen on the Nvidia website.

The new Nvidia GTX Geforce 1050 with 3GB vram has a clock speed 102MHz higher and a boost that is 126MHz higher than the GTX 1050 Ti. Also, just as with the GTX 1050 Ti 768 cudacores are switched on, while there are 640 in the regular GTX 1050.

The manufacturer did not use the existing memory controller of 128bit; a 96-bit wide memory interface has been integrated, resulting in a total memory bandwidth of 84GB / s. That is lower than the 112GB / s of the regular GTX 1050 and the Ti version.

There was already a rumor that Nvidia was working on a 3GB version of the GTX 1050. Probably this card was made, because 2GB gddr5 at the regular GTX 1050 formed a bottleneck . Nvidia has not yet announced when the GTX 1050 with 3GB vram on the market and how much the card will cost.
