NZXT S340 SE and NSE H440 Review – At least one must
Two years ago, NZXT released the original H440-housing, one of the first housings external 5.25 “optical drives -drivebays for example, dropped. At a big gamble, but now let more and more manufacturers that 5.25” -drivebays road; they are still rarely used and who will use the space for a fan controller, is getting fewer options.
The H440 proved a popular housing and that applies even more to the S340. That came in the fall of 2014 on the market and has become very popular. Unfortunately we never subjected to review this case, but with the release of the Special Edition, a year later, we have a good excuse to do so. The S340 Special Edition indicates a collaboration with Razer. Previously it was known as the Razer Special Edition and outside Europe happens still. The New Edtition the H440 got a Razer-sauce and was therefore called the New Special Edition.
Both cases are characterized not only by omitting external 5.25 “-drivebays but has NZXT has done more to stand out. The S340 SE is made entirely of metal, with a single exception for plastic behind the metal front panel and the plexiglass window in the side panel. the improved version of the H440 we take in this review, with the caveat that compared low-shaking changes to the original model. in this review we will therefore focus on the S340, with the renewed H440 as a bonus.
