OneDrive: Windows 10 Mobile can now deliver files offline




The UWP-app vpn OneDrive has received an update that users of Windows 10 Mobile brings a nice novelty. Files can be downloaded for offline availability. They will then appear in a new menu item called “Offline”. The advantage is, logically, that one needs no online connection to view or edit, they are provided on the device used these files. This is only true for individual files, complete folders can not be downloaded for offline use.

Actually, a standard feature that was previously available under Windows. 8 But the Windows 10 Universal app from OneDrive was indeed completely redeveloped and it requires just a bit of time until everything goes, as one might imagine. The desktop client to receive the long awaited feature of the on-demand sync early 2017, exactly the opposite to the mobile version. Files are only downloaded when they are actually needed. This allows a lot of save space on the hard disk, however, is then always online connection required.
