Open Fri-platform support for Android




Razer has announced that OSVR, an open platform for virtual reality gaming, the new version 1.2 in addition to support for Windows and Linux is now also compatible with Android hardware. There is also a new VR helmet-DevKit for developers.

The tracking kit will be available for participants in the OSVR 1.0 and 1.1 program. There is enhanced recognition of hand movements in the VR goggles, while there are also some Android devices can be placed inside the helmet. Finally, there is an ultra-wide field of view kit firm Wearality. This optical element promises a viewing angle of 150 °.
