Owner Tom’s Hardware buys AnandTech




The owner of Tom’s Hardware has bought Anandtech. There currently seems to change anything on the sites, both since the nineties of the twentieth century, and published both in English on computer hardware.

Purch Media bought Tom’s Hardware in 2013 and now has completed the acquisition of AnandTech published . The company will not say how much it paid for the hardware site, which exists since 1997. This fall Tom’s Hardware and Anandtech for the first time under the same company. At the same company are further include LiveScience and Space.com.

The acquisition follows several months after Anand Lal Shimpi, founder, the site left and went to work for Apple. Shimpi says in the press release on the basis that it supports the acquisition and “had not willed otherwise.” It is unknown what Purch want to do with Anandtech.
