The PC version of Mortal Kombat X does not get the upcoming Kombat Pack 2 dlc. The special Mortal Kombat XL edition in which all the downloadable content is added is not coming to the PC and only comes out for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

NeatherRealm, the developers of Mortal Kombat X, has confirmed that both Mortal Kombat XL if Kombat Pack 2 released exclusively for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It did this in response to a debate on the forum of the game where the subject was brought forward . This is due to the exclusion of the PC in the béta programs include the improvement of the online mode.

The PC version of the game was the first Kombat Pack DLC, but the opinions were much according to Steam ‘divided’. Players were disappointed in the few additions that the dlc did in the game. Kombat Pack 2 brings a similar amount of new content to the game. Kombat Pack 2 includes inter alia, the playable characters Leatherface, Xenomorph, Tri-Borg and Bo Rai Cho.

Mortal Kombat XL is a kind of complete edition of the game. The special edition will contain the base game with all available dlc. As Kombat Pack 2, the special edition only for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and turn the PC on. Probably the exclusion of both the PC also means improved network code for the online mode is not brought to the PC. In the video on the béta therefore be only the logos of the consoles displayed.
