Panasonic sells its mobile phone division?

While in Japan for the last but badly battered industry tangible signs are that you can once again get out of the valley – the best example is Sony – Panasonic seems to know yet not quite know where we are headed. Last we heard from the company that you want to say goodbye to the market with plasma TVs and a Reuters report , according to you also want to leave the promising healthcare division.

Once we can imagine then that it looks exactly Panasonic maintained which branch you want and what we prefer to separate, to the lot on the mobile phone or smartphone to have fallen division. As alleged prospective want to have identified in the Japanese press, the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and just HTC. Especially in the latter, I feel, that have other worries, as that might be currently investing in the mobile phone sector.

The DigiTimes speculates that HTC in Japan – where one can certainly celebrate appealing sales – wants to expand its business there. At least it keeps the more probable than the theory that TSMC strikes and then line up in competition with the company, would be the self-supplied. You see, this rumor is still on very shaky ground, but we will continue to pursue.
