Not so long ago we reported that the popular music player Winamp living out their last days. But according to recent data, the company AOL, which owns Winamp, is going to buy the company Radionomy, which owns Internet radio service.

About this site reports TechCrunch, citing its anonymous sources. According to him the deal between the two companies should be held in the coming days. Possession Radionomy will go as Winamp, and Shoutcast. Amount of the transaction remains unknown.

First on the deal noticed posters online player where the user under the name Bryon Stout noted that the domain belongs to DNS-servers Radionomy. Earlier in the corresponding row was listed DNS-server AOL.

The company itself is Radionomy service, aggregating many Internet radio stations. Now on account of the company is about six thousand radio stations of different styles and genres. The company operates in the Internet market since 2008.
