Personal Authority: twenty data breaches reported in first week

The Authority Personal Data in the first week of this year, in his own words twenty reports of data breaches ingested. That is less than was initially expected. Organizations reporting since January 1 mandatory data breach to the supervisory authority.

The Authority Personal Data presented recently its new logo, which is displayed above. It is part of the new identity of the supervisor before 1 January still ‘Protection Board’ was called, along with new tasks and responsibilities.

Nearly half of Dutch consumers trust the way companies interact with their personal data is not, as shown in a recent survey. The question is what impact will have the duty to report and a supervisor with more authority on this.
