Philips Hue: motion detector and new hub on the march
The smart lighting system from Philips – Philips Hue – apparently soon receives a smart extension. will allow a motion sensor, the new actions in conjunction with the lamps without having to rely on external solutions. Although this is already possible, but it is not as simple as a directly integrated into the system sensor. The Philips Hue Motion sensor (with ambient light sensor) is based on the Zigbee standard. It recognizes a 100 degree field to 5 meters distance, packed in a 2 x 2 inches (about 5 x 5 cm) wide housing. Two AAA batteries are to be responsible for the power supply.
Information for Philips Hue Motion Sensor submitted by the Administration FCC . However, the motion sensor does not seem to be the only new hardware Hue, also there will be a new hub (2.1) and also the Tap Isolation Transformers to get an update. When this is the case, is not known, it can be Dave Zatz carried away with a price estimate. 40 – 60 Dollar will cost the motion sensor.Viewing:-157
