Photos indicate Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 with gddr5x and GTX 1070 with GDDR5
From online published pictures of the GP104-GPUs, which will probably be applied to the 1080 GTX and GTX 1070, is to make that Nvidia chooses gddr5x on the top model. The GTX 1070 will as the current generation of video cards GDDR5 memory.
Nvidia GP104-400 Wccftech published the photo of the GP104-400 GPU. The chip is placed on a PCB, and is accompanied by gddr5x memory chips from Micron. Videocardz discovered that the leaked photo is a custom PCB. It would be a variant of MSI, as the placement of components corresponds exactly to the PCB from an MSI GTX 980 4GB. Probably video card manufacturers over the new Pascal GPUs already owned and they are engaged in the production of their new cards.

Chip Hell – GP104-200 Chiphell.com came through an image of the GP104-200 GPU to outside . This chip will probably find its way to the 1070 GTX cards. There is also seen a photograph of the GPU on the pcb, wherein the memory chips are in the picture. Although the image is not very sharp, it goes according Videocardz to GDDR5 memory from Samsung with a capacity of 8GB.
The GP104-200 GP104-400 and have the same dimensions. Judging by the size of the package is to calculate how many transistors, the GP104 contains about. Nvidia will probably end of May, just before the start of the Computex trade show in Taiwan, its new GeForce cards announcing . It is expected that the video cards around June will find their way to the shops. Possibly the GTX 1080 with later gddr5x memory, given Micron shows the mass production of this type of memory for this summer are planned.Viewing:-193
