Picture shows possible advent Facebook Messenger for OS X

There seems to be a version of Facebook Messenger that is appropriate for Apple’s operating system OS X. A picture of the still unannounced software popped up. It seems that the software is as yet only tested internally at Facebook.

TechCrunch has the conscious pictures online put, and claims to have received it from a source that has also seen the software itself. The illustration shows a Mac that is running an unreleased Facebook Messenger application. Although the picture is not completely sharp, it appears to be an official app, which according to the source being used by a Facebook employee.

If the news is true, it is likely that Facebook Messenger for OS X’s internal testing. The company wanted against TechCrunch did not respond to the discovery, which is still unclear whether and when the software is released.

Facebook has previously released a version of Facebook Messenger for Windows, but has since discontinued their support. On mobile phones, the company does offer a separate chat application. It is unclear whether simultaneously with the version for OS X, a new version of Windows is released. Incidentally, for Mac and Windows Web applications already available.
