A large group of users of the PlayStation Vita handheld enables face problems after software version 3.57 which appeared recently, to have installed. This could, among other things not connect more with the PlayStation Store, and the sleep mode does not work properly.

The problems are reported in several locations, including the forums of NeoGAF and the official PlayStation forums. One of the problems is that the PlayStation Store can not be started; the online store for games hangs on a loading screen. It also ensures not being able to get a connection with the store do not function that previously purchased games. Incidentally, there are also owners of the PS Vita who claim to have long been suffering from a broken PlayStation Store.

Besides the problems with the PlayStation Store also allows users to have problems with the battery. This would rapidly deflate, which is due to an error in the sleep mode. One of the suggestions is named on the forums to choose to launch the handheld console in Safe Mode and then the option ‘Rebuild database’. Although this has corrected the flaw for some users do not appear to have all this success.

To our knowledge, Sony has not yet responded to the problems. It is likely that the company comes with a software update to fix the bugs. Moreover, the problems do not seem to affect anyone, but it is still unclear what the exact cause is.
